I'm holding at 97.0% Can somone take a look at my map and see what i'm missing. I'd appreciate it. I've had a couple people look at it my maps previously and they've mentioned the area outside of shing jea monastery. Well I'm mapping with a Tyrian character is it possibleto get out there or does it even count? I was under the impression that it didn't count toward map title. Thanks in advance.

Ok. I'm confused, can I, or can't I post maps here for people to look over. I was under the impression we couldn't but now i see maps here and people asking to point out the spots they are missing so I am assuming that we can.
If we can here's my map gw144.jpg if not ignore this line
I am 98.8 help would be appriciated.

No one is checking them, so it's currently a wasted effort.

Thanks to Livingston and everyone else who has contributed with information and advice. This thread helped a lot to get from 98 to GMC.
Like many others I was stuck on the Quarry. Yesterday I dropped in there; saw it was empty as usual and started comparing maps to find my elusive last .2%. While mapflipping I realized the background music had stopped...I was in the Quarry !
Ty to the guild who organized the outing and dragged me along.

Thanks to this awsome guide and a little of my know-how, i managed to get GMC... tips for anyone trying: scrape the outposts, scrape areas that you think you have 100% and use the Eredon Terrace bug if needed. I got my last 0.1% at the cliffs north of Zen Daijun allthou i thought i had clamped down all of started island.
And a small pic to show my feat:

THE TOOLS:
AVISYNTH -- http://downloads.sourceforge.net/avi...6&big_mirror=0
VIRTUALDUB -- http://downloads.sourceforge.net/vir...8&big_mirror=0
TEXMOD + MOD -- http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...d.php?t=457255
100% Tyria Map (1024x768) -- http://home.sprynet.com/~asrial/MapWork/1024-Tyria.jpg
100% Tyria Map (1280x1024) -- http://home.sprynet.com/~asrial/MapWork/1280-Tyria.jpg
100% Cantha Map (1024x768) -- http://home.sprynet.com/~asrial/MapWork/1024-Cantha.jpg
100% Cantha Map (1280x1024) -- http://home.sprynet.com/~asrial/MapWork/1280-Cantha.jpg
.
Download AviSynth, VirtualDub, TexMod, and the Mapping Mod made by Tiyuri.
Make a text script titled "whateveryouwant.avs" and in it, put this text:
(text start; do not put this in)
a = ImageSource("insert location and full name of 100% map here",end=0).Subtitle("baseline")
b = ImageSource("insert location and full name of non-100% map here",end=0)
c = overlay(b,a,mode="difference")
a + b + c
(text end; do not put this in)
Run Guild Wars with the mapping mod and take a 1024 screenshot of your map. Run VirtualDub and load the avs file and go through the 3 screenshots and find your missing areas.
.
The concept is this...
You create as clean a screenshot as you can and compare it to a 100% screenshot made using the same process.
Using VirtualDub allows you to flip back and forth ALOT faster than any other program out there PLUS it allows a comparison to be made. Anything that shows up in a light blue/white color, in the third frame, is an area that has a discrepancy. You can then focus your eyes on that spot and go back to the two prior frames to determine if it's on the 100% map or yours.
Further, as you progress clearing areas, all you need to do is make a new screenshot and replace the file location in the avs file and hit F5 in VirtualDub to refresh the file load.
Quick and painless.
.
VirtualDub is the program used to do the comparison and picture viewing.
AviSynth is used to install the scripting language for the text file loaded into VirtualDub.
TexMod and the Mod is used to create the best screenshot possible.
.
I also have a request...
If anyone finds spots that THEY have uncovered but I don't, please let me know.
CURRENT AREAS NOT CONCERNED WITH: The areas you reach by being banished by Shiro and the area you reach by Necrotic Traversal when Evennia dies by poison.

Stewie32,
Attached is a marked up version of your map. Outlined in red are areas you need to add. Stuff in yellow was not on my map, may be artifacts or guild-owned locations I could not enter.

Rufus... Map checked, if you still need it
Rufus D Righteous:
Attached is a reviewed version of your map, showing the areas I could identify that you still need to map.
iamthescooter:
Sorry, I could not review your map. It is an odd size, 1016x700. The method I use to check maps requires me to have my own 100% map saved at the same scale as the map I am checking. Resizing a map usually does not work because the proportions (height to width ratio) differ, and resizing creates distortions even though the resized map may be the same "000x000" size. Note that maps of different proportions have different amounts of black space on their east and west sides, that's mostly why resizing doesn't work. If you can, post your maps in 'standard' sizes (1280x1024, 1680x1050, 1024x768).
Miss Adalyn:
Sorry, I could not review your maps either. You do not need to post multiple regular size portions of the map, for some map checking methods, like the one I use, the "full screen zoomed out" map is needed. I use photoshop type software to load both my own 100% map and the map under review as two LAYERS of the same picture, then toggle the 100% map off and on rapidly. The areas where they differ then 'blink' at you, very obvious and easy to spot. For this to work the two maps must be exactly the same size and proportions, that's why section by section maps don't work, impossible to get them lined up right.

Try checking the areas marked on the attached file.
There seems to be a lot of the Island that you still need. A very common problem I would add, most 99%+ maps seem to be missing area there.
Good Luck

Well unreal_UK,
I could not find too many places you were missing, but the ones I did find were quite large.
Actually, while I could not swear to it, I believe you do need Jade Quarry to get to 100%. But I could be wrong. And if you don't have that you would definitely need the ShingJea practice area (or whatever its called). (which you do not have all of, sorry to say)
But give this attached map a try, bound to get you a bit of ground...
